Participants engage with real laboratory workflows across microbial bioprospecting, bioactive discovery, metabolite investigation, and in-vitro validation systems. These programs are designed for individuals seeking practical understanding of applied biotechnology within active research environments.

These are not routine academic training modules or standardized laboratory courses. Our programs are structured as selective research immersion experiences designed around ongoing scientific activities, biological exploration, and application-focused experimentation.

Research Immersion Tracks
Microbial Discovery & Bioprospecting
Exposure to environmental sampling, microbial isolation, molecular identification, and basic bioinformatics workflows associated with microbial discovery programs.
Exposure Includes- Environmental sampling strategies
- Isolation and characterization of microbial strains
- 16S rRNA / ITS-based molecular identification
- Sequence analysis and phylogenetic interpretation
- Culture preservation and maintenance
Molecule & Metabolite Discovery
Exposure to workflows associated with extraction, screening, and preliminary evaluation of microbial metabolites and natural bioactive compounds.
Exposure Includes- Microbial metabolite extraction techniques
- Phytochemical extraction and nanoparticle synthesis
- Bioactivity-oriented screening approaches
- Fractionation and preliminary evaluation workflows
Metabolite Production & Bioprocess Systems
Exposure to fermentation optimization and microbial cultivation strategies associated with targeted metabolite production.
Exposure Includes- Media formulation and optimization
- Fermentation parameter tuning (pH, temperature, nutrients, aeration)
- Strain-specific cultivation approaches
- Multi-metabolite expression concepts in microbial systems
Bioactivity & In-vitro Validation
Exposure to biological evaluation systems used for functional assessment of compounds, metabolites, and biological systems.
Exposure Includes- Antimicrobial and biochemical assays
- Enzyme inhibition studies
- Cytotoxicity and functional screening
- In-vitro pharmacological evaluation models
